Green teas are often avoided because people think they are bitter. Some are - they are low quality and taste bitter and disgusting! But good quality green teas, like this one, are never bitter. They only taste like this if they are brewed with too hot water (this scolds the leaves and releases a bitter liquor) or they are brewed for too long (same effect).
Green Tea is best when brewed for 2-3 mins at 80 degrees. Top tip: splash the tea leaves with cold water before pouring over the hot for a little extra protection from scolding.
China Green tea is available in our gorgeous Loose Leaf tea tins and our newly introduced refill pouches.
